Renton, WA September 9, 2011 — On September 1st Sloan Jordan,
Principal of Allied Group, Inc. announced her plan to transition
into retirement. Ms. Jordan has been with Allied for 20 years.
She has had an esteemed career in the multifamily industry and
holds the prestigious title of Counselor of Real Estate (CREŽ).
Ms. Jordan has shared her expertise in affordable housing not
only with Allied but also as a consultant to non-profit housing
agencies throughout the United States and its territories. It
was always Ms. Jordan’s goal to offer the opportunity she had;
to own part of Allied, to others who have been successful
associates with Allied. Ms. Jordan has sold a portion of her
stock in Allied to Melissa Koenig, Andy Claus, Matt Andrews and
Colleen Shumaker.
Ms. Jordan will not be leaving Allied Group, Inc. for several
years to come, and plans to make it her goal to help these four
individuals, who have become incredible professionals in their
individual fields, to take a step further in becoming successful
owners and partners in Allied Group, Inc. Melissa Koenig, Andy
Claus, Matt Andrews and Colleen Shumaker will join Greg Anderson
and Sloan Jordan as owners of Allied Group, Inc.
Allied Group, Inc. was created as a for-profit corporation in
September 1987, and was designated as an Accredited Management
Organization (AMOŽ) in November 1992, an honor received by an
elite few property management companies. Since inception, Allied
has steadily increased the size and value of its management
portfolio, managing properties for individuals, investors, real
estate syndicates, developers, non-profit agencies, and local
government housing authorities.
